TitiSpin Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Most privacy policies are written for lawyers. This one is organized around the questions people send us, in roughly the order they ask them. It applies to titispin.chat and to the home screen version of the site. If something here is unclear or seems to be missing, email [email protected] and a person will answer.

01 Who is "we", and what does this cover?

TitiSpin is a random video chat service available at titispin.chat. "We", "us" and "our" mean the team that operates it. "You" means anyone using it, whether you opened the site for the first time five minutes ago or you have been spinning every evening for a month.

The policy covers every part of the service: one-on-one random matching, the list of people online, profiles, follows and private messages, calls started from a profile, live streams, clubs, coins, VIP and the Reward Center. TitiSpin is only for people aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone younger.

02 Do I have to give you my name or email to use TitiSpin?

No. When you open the site we create a guest identity in the background so you can tap Spin straight away, without filling anything in. That guest identity is a random identifier plus a few technical details about the browser you are using.

If you later create an account, for example to join a club, we store what you choose to provide when signing up, together with the profile details you add yourself, such as a display name, photos and a short bio. You decide what goes into your profile and you can edit it at any time.

03 What happens when I tap Spin?

A match record is created: that a match took place, at what time, in which mode and how it ended. During a video or voice match, your camera picture and your sound are carried to the one person you are matched with, so the two of you can see and hear each other. During a text chat, your messages are carried to that person in the same way.

If you use automatic translation on typed messages, the text is processed so a translated version can be displayed. Reports you file, and reports filed about you, are stored together with the details needed to review them.

04 Can the person I am matched with see where I live?

They see what your camera shows, what you say and what you type, plus whatever you have put in your profile. They do not get your email address, your IP address or your exact location from us.

Your camera is the biggest privacy setting you have. Before you tap Spin, check what is behind you: mail with your address, a window with a recognizable view, a work badge. We cannot un-show something your camera already showed.

05 What do you use my information for?

  • Running the service: matching you, delivering calls and messages, showing who is online and keeping your session alive between visits.
  • Keeping it safe: spotting automated sign-ups, checking reports, enforcing the age rule and the house rules, and stopping people who have been blocked from coming back under a new guest identity.
  • Payments: processing coin and VIP purchases and keeping the records that payment providers and tax rules require.
  • Improving TitiSpin: understanding, in aggregate, which countries, devices and features people use, so we know what to fix first.
  • Talking to you: answering support emails and sending service notices. We do not send marketing to guests.

06 Who else gets my information?

Nobody can buy your personal information from TitiSpin; we have never sold it and do not plan to. We share it only with service providers that help us run TitiSpin, such as hosting, video delivery, payment processing and analytics, and only what each of them needs to do that job. They are not allowed to use it for anything else.

If a court or the law demands it, or someone's safety is at real risk, we may hand over the information needed. If TitiSpin is ever reorganized or sold, information would pass to the new operator under the same promises made here.

07 How long do you keep it?

Only as long as there is a reason to. Guest sessions that go unused fade out. Account details are kept for as long as the account is open. Records needed for safety, payments or legal obligations can be kept longer, because removing them early could let someone dodge a ban or leave us unable to answer a payment dispute.

08 Can I see, change or delete what you hold?

Yes. You can edit your profile in the settings at any time. To get a copy of your information, correct something you cannot edit yourself, or delete your account, email [email protected] from the address linked to the account, or tell us your user ID if you only used the site as a guest.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as objecting to certain uses or complaining to a data protection authority. We will help with those too.

09 What about cookies and the home screen version?

The site uses small files stored by your browser to keep you signed in, remember preferences and measure how the site is used. Clearing your browser storage removes them, and with them your guest session. The version you add to your home screen is the same website, so the same rules apply.

10 Will this policy change?

Sometimes. When it changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, where it makes sense, mention the change inside the app. Questions in the meantime go to [email protected].
